Well, three sisters from Inverness in Scotland have imagined such a situation, and since the year 2000 they have had insurance cover for the eventuality that one of them immaculately conceives the second coming of the little baby Jesus.
Since 2000, the sisters have been paying £100 per annum insurance premiums for one million pounds worth of cover, as they had concerns about having sufficient funds to bring up the little chap if they immaculately conceived. However, this cover has now been withdrawn.
Has the insurance company felt that the risk is now too great? Well, no, according to Simon Burgess, Managing Director of britishinsurance.com. He says, "The Catholic Church is up in arms about what we've been doing. We have withdrawn the cover because it was causing a furore."
