The hottest chilli in the world
July 19, 2006 – 12:11 pmEngland is not noted for Chilli, but a grower in Dorset (south west England) has produced a chilli known as the Dorset Naga that literally blows the top off of the Scoville scale with a measured 923,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units). This is substantially hotter than the hottest of the hot – according to the Guinness World Records.
The Dorset Naga is available by mail order from the growers via their Pepper by Post website.
